St. Joseph School is pleased to provide professional care, supervision, and activities for your child after regular school hours for families who desire a parochial school education with both MORNING and AFTERNOON school care in a Catholic environment.

The CARES Program is staffed by experienced, devoted, and committed St. Joseph School teachers and staff. The CARES Program allows children to experience activities including indoor/outdoor recreational games and snack time. In addition, there is time set aside in the program to work on written homework.

Our AFTERNOON CARES Program operates between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. on regular school days.  The AFTERNOON CARES program will begin on the first day of school.

MORNING CARES: Children may be dropped off at the front door of school at 7:00 a.m. and one of our teachers will be with your children until 8:00 a.m. Students may bring their breakfast when they come for MORNING CARES.

Students may participate on a full or part-time basis. Only those families registered may participate in this program. The cost of the yearly registration fee is $50 per family. This fee will be billed through SMART. Do not send money in at this time. The cost of CARES is $12.00 per hour for one child and $20.00 per hour for more than one. On half days the cost is $15.00 per child plus the hourly rate starting at 3:00 p.m. The latest pickup time is 6:00 p.m. There will be a late fee charge for children picked up after 6:00 p.m. The required fees are the sole support of the CARES Program. It is not subsidized by the school. We ask, therefore, that payment for service be made promptly each month through SMART.

Since CARES will begin on the first day of school, we ask that the registration form be returned to school by the first day of school. No money is due at this time for your registration fee will be billed to you through SMART.
